“Our visitors were particularly interested in SMART’s expertise in infrastructure economics and governance,” explained Professor Pascal Perez, Director, SMART Infrastructure Facility.

Also in attendance at the visit were fellow University of Wollongong researchers from the Faculty of Social Sciences, who discussed the geographies of urban government, and urban health and the built environment.

SMART looks forward to developing strong relationships with KKU in the future and potentially welcoming them as one of the many global partners with whom the Facility currently has partnerships with.

“It was a privilege to host such a senior delegation, thanks to a recommendation from Austrade-Thailand,” said Prof. Perez.
