We farewell Dr Siyu Qian, who will depart Centre for Digital Transformation in School of Computing and Information Technology to start her new position in Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District (ISLHD) this week. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Dr Qian for her commitment, hard work, and contribution to the development of our digital health research stream.
Dr Qian graduated with PhD in Health Informatics in 2015, under the supervision of the Director of the Centre, Associate Professor Ping Yu and Honorary Professorial Fellow David Hailey. She published seven peer-reviewed journal papers and three book chapters from her PhD work.
In the last four years working as a Research Associate, Dr Qian has managed four collaborative research projects with ISLHD. She has contributed to the establishment and continuous development of a strong collaborative research partnership between our research centre and ISLHD. This has also led to her landing in her new continuous position, Research Project Officer in the ISLHD Drug and Alcohol Service.
We look forward to Dr Qian to continuously bring the research partnership between our research centre and ISLHD Drug and Alcohol Service from strength to strength.
We wish Dr Qian every success in the future.
