The University of Wollongong’s Humanitarian Engineering Society has just returned from central Africa to assist in the construction and repairs of various projects in Rwanda.

As part of their subject, Humanitarian Engineering Management, this team of students fundraised, designed and built a water drainage management system and playground in a school in Kigali, a classroom for a new school in Ruhinga, and a water supply system for a community centre in Nyamata.
