Fabian Ho has arrived at SMART on a three-month internship from INSA (National Institute of Applied Sciences) in Toulouse, France.

Fabian will be working with Dr Johan Barthelemy, Dr Nicolas Verstaevel and Senior Professor Pacal Perez as part of the Digital Living Lab and is currently in the process of obtaining a master’s in Network and Telecommunication Engineering.

He describes himself as a junior engineer with a strong interest in new technologies such as IoT with the new LPWAN network, 5G networks and the Cloud.

“I’m here to implement the OneM2M (One Machine to Machine) architecture for various IoT applications,” he says.

“The goal of my training is to provide a platform for M2M interoperability and sensor discoverability.”

Fabian will be at SMART for three months.
