Zeta functions on pointy things
Once upon a time I looked at a simple example of a Dirac operator on a cone. I was trying to build a zeta function with nasty behaviour, but the results were mixed. Much later, but still long long ago in a university far far away, I considered the question of nasty zeta functions on cones in more detail, but never satisfactorily finished the project (joint with Steve Rosenberg). So for some explicit examples and open questions, come along and enjoy a walk down memory lane.
