Modelling tools to help protect aerospace assets and personnel

Iwan Cornelius received his PhD in Physics from the Centre for Medical Radiation Physics, University of Wollongong. He researched and published for over 10 years in the fields of detection and measurement of ionising radiation, computational modelling of radiation environments, and virtual reality training tools for radiation professionals. His PhD and early research at CMRP focussed on the development and testing of silicon microdosimeters for radiation protection in space and aviation. He left academia in 2014 and is now Managing Director of Amentum Aerospace, based at the Nandin Deep Technology incubator of ANSTO.
