Using Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision to Automate Corridor Inspections and Predict Rail Maintenance

Abstract

In this seminar, Airsight will provide details of how it is using artificial intelligence and computer vision with train-mounted high resolution (4K) sensors to automate corridor inspection processes. This technology helps rail operators to deliver more accurate and consistent inspection outcomes as well as dramatically helping to remove workers from the rail corridor. Airsight partnered with Sydney Trains, ARTC and UGL in order to test and validate this emerging technology.
