2019 National Transport Infrastructure Workshop (NTIW)
February 13 - February 14
The ARC Industry Transformation Training Centre for Advanced Technologies in Rail Track Infrastructure (ITTC Rail) is proud to be hosting the 2019 National Transport Infrastructure Workshop (NTIW), 13-14th February 2019 in Sydney, Australia.
The 2019 NTIW is a continuation of the same series of workshops as the 2014 Transport and Energy Infrastructure
Designed to bring together practitioners and researchers as well as the broader community of geo-professionals who are interested in ground engineering aspects of transport infrastructure, the 2019 NTIW will host numerous presentations addressing innovative technologies, new research outcomes of significant industry impact, state-of-the-art practices related to site investigations, monitoring and instrumentation, and case histories in design and construction of roads, rail substructure and other pavement applications.
It is anticipated that the 2019 NTIW will provide a timely technology forum for professional engineers, researchers, specialist contractors, regulators, educators and engineering students. Our esteemed speakers and attendees will share their collective knowledge and experiences, encompassing both fundamental and applied aspects, and work together towards advancing the state of Australian transport infrastructure.
Sessions on both days will be held at Pullman Hotel Hyde Park Sydney. They include talks from senior engineers and technical directors of Australian transport infrastructure industry, keynote lectures from researchers who made significant contributions to the field and the research community, rail track design workshops, discussions, and a full buffet lunch. Day One also includes a banquet dinner to finish the day. A complimentary bus tour to the National Facility for Cyclic Testing of High Speed Rail at Russell Vale and SMART facilities at University of Wollongong followed by networking cocktail party are included in Day Two.
